BGC Contracting (BGCC), recently acquired by NRW Holdings, provides a diversified range of services across the resources, energy and infrastructure sectors Australia wide. BGCC were undertaking several internal initiatives impacting people, processes and technology across their organisation.Â
Our task Â
Consulcad was engaged to provide specialist organisational change management support to internal initiativesÂ
What we did Â
The Consulcad team were embedded within the BGCC team, building organisational change management capability, including:Â
- Organisational change management coaching for BGCC project team members  Â
- Development of key messages and other communications deliverables for two organisation-wide initiativesÂ
- Development of a project knowledge baseÂ
- Assessment of technology, process and role alignment for a new technology systemÂ
- Application of existing Organisational Change Management templates to identify improvement opportunitiesÂ
The outcome Â
Consulcad’s involvement resulted in the adoption of effective organisational change practices, including:Â
- Greater engagement of those impacted by the changeÂ
- Improved sharing of tacit and elicit knowledge to support transition to operationsÂ
- Reduced effort for critical initiatives with a practical, scalable framework
