Consulcad rapidly delivers organisational change services while improving change management capability.
Background
BGC Contracting (BGCC), recently acquired by NRW Holdings, provides a diversified range of services across the resources, energy and infrastructure sectors Australia wide. BGCC were undertaking several internal initiatives impacting people, processes and technology across their organisation.
Our task
Consulcad was engaged to provide specialist organisational change management support to internal initiatives
What we did
The Consulcad team were embedded within the BGCC team, building organisational change management capability, including:
- Organisational change management coaching for BGCC project team members
- Development of key messages and other communications deliverables for two organisation-wide initiatives
- Development of a project knowledge base
- Assessment of technology, process and role alignment for a new technology system
- Application of existing Organisational Change Management templates to identify improvement opportunities
The outcome
Consulcad’s involvement resulted in the adoption of effective organisational change practices, including:
- Greater engagement of those impacted by the change
- Improved sharing of tacit and elicit knowledge to support transition to operations
- Reduced effort for critical initiatives with a practical, scalable framework
